I chose this song because it describes the book very well. Also, the song is a classic. Everyone in the book has at least one person they can look up to. That person is their hero. They help the character in great times in need and they seek that person for solace when needed. Scout has Jem. Scout and Jem have Atticus. Tom Robinson had Atticus. And so on, and so forth. In order to persevere and continue on forth, there needs to be a person supporting whatever there needs to be done. There needs to be a person to catch you if you ever fall. That is a hero. Someone that you can look up to and trust. Someone that will always be there when you need them.
